Admission, Security Deposits, Rentals & Renewals
- The rent amount should be paid in Advance to the Management before the renewal period, failing which the occupants shall not be allowed to enter the hostel.
- Charges for any damages/missing to the property including the movable and immovable items caused by students/Occupants shall be recovered from Students/Occupants immediately or shall be directed to replace to restore the original conditions.
- Allocated rooms are meant only for the use of bona fide students of the particular rooms.
- Before leaving the hostel, students/Occupants should Pay all dues and hand over the charges of the room and other materials in satisfactory condition to the Administrator.
- No Students/Occupants shall use the service of hostel servants for personal work even on the payment. The occupants shall refrain from bringing any servant from outside.
- Each room has already been provided with a separate electricity meter and the charges shall be collected from the occupants jointly or severally on the bi-monthly bills according to their usages reflected in the meters. Non-payment electricity bill will result in disconnection to the particular room and the management shall terminate the agreement with the students/occupants.
- One month’s notice should be given in before leaving the hostel otherwise 30 days rent & Electricity fee shall be retained including the amount for any compensation for the damages to the property shall be deducted from the security deposit.
- If the management finds any gadgets like Heater, Electric stove, Oven etc., are in use which shall be ceased and also they will be imposed fine a sum of Rs 2,000/- towards electricity per month.
- Students/Occupants are required to give their consent about continuing the Hostel facilities in the next year, when asked by authorities.
- THE BABUS HOSTEL reserves its right to increase the hostel fee, if necessary, with notice occupants.
- The accommodation in the hostel once provided shall be tenable for one academic year only and may be Renewed every year by accepting a fresh application at the discretion of the management.
- If any one room gets vacated by one of the occupants, the rest of the occupants need to get adjusted in another room for economy of expenses. If the other wants to remain alone, then he will have to pay the full amount of establishment charges in addition.
Timings & Attendance
The hostel will be strictly kept open from 3.00 AM to 10.00 PM. All the Students/Occupants are requested to return to the hostel before 10.00 PM.
- Every Student/Occupants shall return to the respective room and if they are delayed beyond the permissible timings owing to any special reason and they must obtain prior permission from the Administrator.
- All the Students/Occupants going out on holiday should record the date, time, Purpose, etc., in the register and any other leave of absence should be sub should be submitted to the Administrator in advance and before the departure.
- It is compulsory for all inmates they punch in the biometric machine mounted onthe wall at the reception as well as exit time.
Personal / Guest related – General
- Admission to the hostel will be cancelled if false information is furnished by the occupants/students.
18. Carrying, keeping in possession, or using of cigarettes, alcoholic drinks, prohibited videos, drugs or any other intoxicants are strictly prohibited in the hostel Premises.
19. THE BABUS HOSTEL MANAGEMENT will not be responsible for any mishap inside the hostel premises.
- Students/Occupants residing in the hostel shall strictly observe all the Rules and Regulations in force from time to time and a breach of rules/regulations may attract a fine or shall be evicted from the hostel.
- During their stay in the hostel, every occupantis under the observation/ monitor/ Surveillance of the Administrator of THE BABUS HOSTEL.
- Visitors and guests of the inmate should be received only in the reception area subject to the permission of the management and they shall not be permitted to the rooms.
- Solid items, wastes and garbage should be thrown into the dust bin separately provided and it should not be flushed in the western closet toilet.
- Tenants are not allowed to keep any of their items on the corridor/balcony/reception/verandah/commonplace.
- The Babus Hostels is not responsible for the loss of any personal belongings. It is strictly the Tenants’ responsibility to safeguard their belongings such as cash, jewellery, mobile, laptops, etc.,
- Tenants are expected to switch off their lights and fans in their rooms every time they go out and take precautions to minimize their electricity consumption. Students/Occupants shall not be permitted to enter rooms of other students/Occupants without Permission of the inmates and also should not obstruct the mobilization of the other occupants or the people of the establishments by standing in the corridor/staircase and any other place.
- The Expenses towards injury caused by banned electrical gadgets such as heaters, Stove should met by the inmate. The management is not responsible for any such accident.
- Every case of illness and accident must be reported immediately to the Admin in charge and It is their sole responsibility to take care of their health.
- No function or celebrations shall be organized except with the permission of the Admin.
- No Poster etc.., should be permitted to put up anywhere, either in room or lobby.
- Students are not allowed to play any kind of game in the room.
- Throwing of Watercolors etc.., on the other inmates and the walls/Property of the hostel is strictly prohibited.
- Students/occupants are not allowed to take outside food to their rooms and they shall dine in the designated area provided by the Management.
- THE BABUS HOSTEL management reserves its right to cancel admission of students without any reason.
- Pickup and Drop available as requirement.
